Biochemistry is a versatile field that provides students with a solid foundation for pursuing pathways in the health professions, biomedical research, environmental science and other careers. The Biochemistry Major consists of 52 credits as outlined below. Students interested in the Biochemistry major are encouraged to consult with one of the biochemistry program advisors (Professor Jenny Lanni and Professor Hilary Gaudet) to discuss their specific path through the major. Courses taken pass/fail may not be used to fulfill requirements in the Biochemistry major.
