BUS 698 - Business Analytics This course teaches students the foundational principles and tools of business analytics used for data-driven decision-making. Students learn to collect, clean, analyze, and visualize data using industry-standard tools such as Excel, PostgreSQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, and Machine Learning. Topics include descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics, as well as key statistical methods like correlation, regression, and hypothesis testing. Through hands-on exercises and a semester long project, students develop practical analytical and problem-solving skills which can be applied to today’s business challenges.

This course can be taken at any time during a student’s undergraduate studies.
