Design Minor

The Design Minor provides a foundation in visual communication design, digital or physical product design to students who want to develop and add creative thinking and making skills to their liberal arts degree. Students pursuing a Design Minor learn and practice professional methods using digital tools to create artifacts and experiences that communicate via image, text, form and interaction.
The Design Minor requires a minimum of 24 credits. Only one class that counts towards the major can also count towards the Design Minor. Students interested in a Design Minor should plan their choice of 100-level courses carefully as prerequisites apply at the 200-level and above.
