DES 298 - Interactive Design for the Web

Students learn and apply design principles for the web including consistency, hierarchy, personality and accessibility achieved through use of type, image, layout, color, controls, metadata and code. Topics include analyzing and designing with style guides, responsive web design, usability metrics, information architecture, accessibility protocols, coding basic HTML, CSS, industry-standard layout software and use of Javascript libraries.
