The minor in Teaching Multilingual Learners provides students with the knowledge and skills to teach English to non-native speakers. The minor focuses on preparing graduates to work in PreK through high school settings in the United States, though it is also relevant to students who are interested in teaching English overseas, working in nonprofit organizations, or exploring the field of language-related education policies. The minor provides a strong foundation for students who plan to teach after graduation, but it does not lead to certification.
The minor in Education consists of 20 credits.
