BIO 261 - Economic Botany The study of how humans use plants and the properties of plants that make them useful. This class will examine the plants used for food, drink, medicines, fiber and wood, as well as the ways that plants have shaped humanity and the history of our own species. Three hours of lecture plus three hours of lab per week.
Prerequisites BIO 101 or BIO 111 or AP credit or Permission of Instructor
