BIO 111 - Evolution and Ecology The study of evolution as a process, as it relates to patterns of distribution and abundance of organisms in ecosystems. Three hours lecture, three hours laboratory per week. Bio 111, required for majors in the biological sciences, may be taken either before or after BIO 112 .

This course is not recommended for non-science majors looking to fulfill the Natural Science requirement. Preference will be given to First Year students planning to major in Biology, Environmental Science, Neuroscience or planning a pre-professional conetration in health sciences.
