Major requirements

The major in German consists of a minimum of 10 credits.  Of these, 4 must be at the 300-level or higher.

Course Requirements

  • Six German courses beyond GER 102   
  • Three German courses at or above the 300-level
  • Senior Seminar GER 401  

Note:

If a First Year Seminar is offered by the German Department, it may be counted towards the major.
