PHIL 298 - Critical Thinking in the Times of Madness Is critical thinking dangerous? Does it undermine authority? Which mental habits make someone good or bad at critical thinking? What do people think critically about? In this course, we explore critical thinking both as a subject of inquiry and as a tool for investigating a wide range of topics, from free will to friendship, and from social equality to epistemic injustice. Readings are drawn from ancient, modern, and contemporary philosophers and essayists.
