PHIL 298 - Philosophy of Immigration Law An exploration of how legal philosophy addresses issues arising from various aspects of immigration. Topics will include statelessness, defining “refugees,” justifying refugee and other immigrant policies, notions of citizenship, and human rights. Background in law is neither required nor expected, and students will learn to analyze both international and national legal provisions bearing on immigration.
