ENG 232 - Revolutionary Ideals and British Romanticism What has the British Romantic legacy of writers like Wordsworth and Keats, Coleridge and Shelley left us? How did they grapple with their revolutionary ideals as well as their own historical circumstances? We will critically and culturally examine their poetic exploration of the mind in all its psychological complexities, the political dimensions of their lyric assertions and the images that still seem to affect our contemporary culture.
