ECON 313 - Banking and Monetary Theory This course studies the nature of money and credit in a modern economy; the operations of banks, the Federal Reserve System and financial markets; the impact of the money supply on prices, income and employment; United States monetary policy and its relationship to other forms of stabilization policy; and current domestic and international monetary problems.
Prerequisites ECON 101 and ECON 102 or ECON 112
