ECON 262 - Health Economics This course examines issues in the health care industry from institutional, theoretical and empirical perspectives. Topics include measures of health status, health determinants, disparities in health outcomes, medical treatments and technology assessment, health insurance, physician and hospital supply, pharmaceutical industry, international comparisons and evaluation of health care reform initiatives.
