CW 282 - Literary Translation An introduction to the theory and practice of literary translation. In addition to reading translations and discussing the pleasures and problems of translation, students will undertake individual projects in translation of poetry and fiction of their choice. Open to sophomores, juniors and seniors with reading competency in one or more languages in addition to English. Previous experience in creative writing is desirable, but not required.
