BIO 321 - Immunology An overview of the mammalian immune system with an emphasis on humans by using medical case studies. Topics will include: immune cell types, antibodies, self and non-self-recognition, vaccinations and HIV/AIDS. Students will review selected journal articles and write a paper reviewing a disease of their choice. Three hours of lecture per week.
Prerequisites BIO 112 and one 200-level Biology course or Permission of Instructor
