ART 240 - Photography I The fundamentals of photography including the use of the camera, composition, light and subject; developing, printing and enlarging processes studied and performed by the student. Students must have a 35mm camera or a medium-format camera that allows for total control. This course is a two track approach to image making: learning of the technical aspects of traditional black and white photographic image making, combined with the aesthetic concerns and creative problem solving issues associated with the making of high quality expressive photographs.
Prerequisites Survey to determine eligibility to enroll in this course must be completed the week before registration.
