SOC 301 - Sociological Theory The primary objective of this course is to provide a broad overview of the major sociological theorists and theories. Accordingly, the student will become familiar with the classical (preWorld War II) as well as with the contemporary (post-World War II) theoretical paradigms in sociology. Students will cultivate their sociological imaginations as they learn to apply the theories.
