POLS 291 - Judicial Politics Focuses on judicial politics in the United States as reflected in the criminal law process. The course is organized in terms of points of discretion where political decisions are made: the police and arrest, treatment of the accused, bail, plea bargaining, conspiracy law, contempt, sentencing and prisons.
