MUSC 208 - Songwriting An introduction to the processes, materials, and aesthetic issues involved in creating and analyzing songs within the post-1960 folk/singer-songwriter traditions. Coursework will include both creative and analytical assignments. The course will culminate in a public performance and the recording of a studio demo. Enrollment by permission of instructor.
Prerequisites Registration for the pre-application section of this course is required. Eligibility to enroll in this course will be determined at the first day of class.
