MATH 212 - Differential Equations Since the time of Newton, some physical processes of the universe have been accurately modeled by differential equations. Recent advances in mathematics and the invention of computers have allowed the extension of these ideas to complex and chaotic systems. This course uses qualitative, analytic and numeric approaches to understand the long-term behavior of the mathematical models given by differential equations.
