ARTH 334 - Exhibiting Africa: Past & Present This course explores the ways in which Africa and its animals, peoples and material culture have been represented by museums. We will study how economic, political and social change influence the collection and display of Africa and Africans and how debates over cultural heritage and repatriation apply to the African continent.
