ESCI 400 - Senior Seminar

Senior Seminar is a one-semester seminar course that facilitates your synthesis of the work and exploration you’ve been doing during your time at Wheaton. The senior seminar is your chance to dive more deeply into a topic area that interests you, and to perfect skills such as reading and synthesizing the scientific literature, leading class discussions, writing scientific papers, and giving oral presentations. In this class, you will write a grant proposal for scientific research in environmental science on the topic of your choice. You will also share your work with others at the end of the semester in a ten-minute oral presentation.

Prerequisites
Open to Environmental Science seniors or by permission of instructor
