PSY 201 - Practicum in Student Teaching

This practicum course will introduce undergraduates to teaching assistantship. As a teaching assistant, students will have the opportunity to develop their skills in the following areas: classroom management techniques, student mentoring, assessing/providing feedback on student work, a supervised teaching experience, and student-directed activity development. The purpose of this course is to help TAs develop their styles as educators while exposing them to the standards of effective pedagogy techniques.
