INT 205 - Unpacking Your Study Abroad Experience

This course guides students through a reflection on their study abroad experience, personally and intellectually. Students will explore ways they engaged in cultural differences and became comfortable outside their comfort zone. They will research current global issues, with a focus on the country in which they studied, and begin to develop an openness to differing viewpoints. Students will learn critical reflection strategies and discuss how study abroad has supported their individual learning goals and advanced their personal growth and career prospects. It will prepare them to apply the knowledge, skills and perspectives they gained abroad to their lives back at Wheaton and beyond.
