PSY 247 - Abnormal Psychology

This course examines the symptoms, causes, and treatment of maladaptive behavior. It will survey common forms of psychological disorder and current modes of explanation and treatment. Issues including the definitions of normality and abnormality and the goals of intervention will be considered using memoirs to include the perspective of individuals living with mental health disorders.

One PSY course, AP test score of 4 or 5, or Permission of Instructor
