PHYS 360 - Geophysics

Use of the principles of physics to understand current geologic phenomena and the evolution of the Earth and planets. Topics include the structure and evolution of the interiors of the Earth and other planets, deformation of solid material, heat generation and transport, hydrology, and gravity anomalies.
