FR 198 - Provence-Cote d’Azur: Read. Eat. Travel. Write.

Learn about Provence, a region in southeastern France bordering Italy and the Mediterranean Sea through this introductory course to such a vibrant region. Students will learn about the agri-food industry, history, traditions, geography, metal industry, perfumery, tourism through the work of storytellers in a wide range of mediums – illustrators, bloggers, film directors, influencers, and more. The topics covered will show the diversity of this region, its evolution throughout the time, the cultural heritage, the contemporary period, without forgetting main events in major cities such as festivals, notably the Avignon Festival, an annual arts festival held in the French city of Avignon every summer in July.
