CJ 330 - Courts and Corrections This course examines the U.S. court system—how it functions and the role played by criminal and constitution law, judges, prosecutors and defense attorneys. This course also examines what is usually called “corrections,” or the system of punishment and rehabilitation faced by those convicted of crimes. An important feature of this course is careful attention to contemporary critiques of our courts and corrections and examinations of alternative models, including restorative justice practices.
