INT 298 - Representations of Race & Health in Media & Popular Culture This class provides students insight into some of the historical foundations, theoretical concepts, political manifestations, and social issues pertaining to race and health in media/popular culture. The class puts a particular emphasis on people with disabilities, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ representations/experiences.

Notes From time to time, departments design a new course to be offered either on a one-time basis or an experimental basis before deciding whether to make it a regular part of the curriculum. First offered Fall 2024.
