BIO 398 - Invertebrate Zoology Invertebrates cover more than 95% of all animal life. This course offers an in-depth exploration of their diversity, physiology, ecology and evolutionary biology. Using a phylogenomic framework, we will be delving into a wide array of organisms, from simple sponges to complex cephalopods. Through lectures, discussion of peer-reviewed articles, group activities and the integration of bioinformatics tools, students will learn to construct and interpret phylogenetic trees and engage in critical discussions on current controversies in zoology.
