                  CJ 101 - Introduction to Criminal Justice Studies This course explores the history and philosophy of the US criminal justice system. It will provide students with an overview of the system’s basic structure and functions, focusing on its major components, including the police, the courts, and the prisons. Other areas of criminal justice that will be examined include legal processes, ethics, policy, gender, race, victimization, and alternative modes of justice.
