BIO 298 - Biology of Sharks & Relatives In this course, we will explore the diversity of elasmobranch fishes (sharks, skates, and rays), in terms of evolution, phylogeny, physiology, biomechanics, behavior, and ecology. We will also look at the relationship between humans and elasmobranch fishes and current conservation issues. The course will include at least one field trip and in-class laboratory activities.
Prerequisites BIO 114 or AP/IB Biology Credit. (BIO 111 or BIO 112 also accepted for students who entered Wheaton prior to Fall 2021.)
