PHIL 121 - Faces of Injustice An introduction to social and political philosophy that examines different important types of injustice, why they are wrong, and how to address them. Why does inequality matter? Are Black Americans owed reparations for slavery? How should we deal with the gendered division of caregiving and occupational labor? Do states have a right to control their borders and to refuse entry to immigrants? What are our duties to end structural oppression? Appropriate for first-years and does not assume any background in philosophy.
