ENG 248 - Race & Ethnicity in Children’s Literature


This course aims to offer diverse perspectives on the varied texts intended for young peoples. Throughout the semester we’ll explore theories of narrative, ideology, racialization, and politics to consider how understandings of childhood and adolescence are transformed in racial contexts and what implications that may have broadly.
