PHYS 180 - Enhanced Introductory Physics I

An enhanced version of PHYS 170 for students with previous experience in Calculus I. Taken concurrently with PHYS170. In addition to completing the requirements for PHYS170, students in PHYS180 meet the instructor for one extra hour each week, where they explore selected topics from PHYS170 in greater depth. PHYS180 will also be assigned additional homework exercises each week. Strongly recommended for students planning to major in physics or who are interested in the dual degree engineering program. Extra time commitment is approximately 3 hours per week.

Prerequisites
Students should have prior experience with Calculus (in high school or college) or be taking MATH 101 concurrently or by Permission of Instructor
